Niloak pottery was produced in Benton, Arkansas.  Niloak was founded in 1909 and produced art pottery until 1946.  The most sought-after product line produced by Niloak Pottery is mission swirl.  Niloak mission swirl was produced between 1909 and 1942.
*This is a beautiful Second Mark c.1925 art pottery Bowl.  The bowl has an 18″ circumference; measures 2″ tall; and measures 4 1/2″ across the top.   The bowl is made with swirled earth  tones and blues with a matte finish and glazed inside.      It is marked on the bottom.   If you will look at the pictures, you will note that it appears has the number 2 within a circle of bottom interior.
First Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from September 1910 to 1924. .  Further break down of dates can be determined by the examination of the swirl’s colors and the shapes used.
Second Art Mark:  Impressed die stamp (art letters) used from 1925 to the end of all Missionware productions.
